Aid Workers Dedicated to Saving Lives & Helping to End Hunger Around the World

Your support allowed us to respond to the most pressing emergencies around the world — delivering lifesaving assistance in the most challenging and urgent conditions. Your commitment was a lifeline for countless families when it mattered most, in places like Gaza and beyond.

My 30-year-old sister is a cancer patient, and the place needs to be as clean as possible, so she doesn’t get sick. Thanks to [cleaning kits provided by Action Against Hunger] we were able to keep the tent clean ... these materials helped us a lot, especially since we don’t have the financial ability to buy them.”

Clean water is essential for health and survival, and thanks to your support, we’re able to reach more than 7.6 million people through water, sanitation, and hygiene programs — people like Owliya,  a mother in Somalia whose community is experiencing severe drought. She would walk half a mile every day just to collect dirty water, and often too little of it.

The well [rehabilitated by Action Against Hunger] is just a short walk away, and the water is safe for my children. Now, we can focus on other important things in our lives ... for the first time in a long while, we feel like we can live with some peace.”

A Well of Hope in Wajid

Every child deserves a healthy start, and because of you, we’re making that a reality. More than 690,000 children were treated and cured for malnutrition in our clinics last year alone — thanks to your support. In Kenya, our community health workers diagnosed two-year-old Enza before it was too late.
